Built from the arena. Not the sidelines.

Jessica Chauhan, CEO of The Alchemy Index

For nearly two decades, I worked on marketing strategy and execution for companies like DreamWorks, Disney, FEMA, U.S. Army Special Forces, and Aavaz. Campaigns launched. Products scaled. Teams built.

    I was good at it.

My last corporate role (five years leading marketing across multiple manufacturing acquisitions through IPO) changed everything. I learned the unique intricacies of sales, operations, leadership communication, goal-setting vs. actual execution. I learned what it takes to keep the engines humming, exact role definitions and clear paths to conversion: quality, OTD, clear POs, quoting, the entire customer journey. I learned exactly what it takes to build it and what can happen when things break.

    Dark forged metal texture

Then in March 2025, I was terminated.

I didn't realize then that it was the best thing that ever happened.

It unleashed the learnings I had kept secure under one roof — and enabled me to offer them to many.

I wrote a book about getting fired. And I built this practice after it.

I took 20 years of marketing leadership and built The Alchemy Index: a fractional CMO practice for manufacturers whose growth has outpaced their visibility.

Not a marketing agency. Not a branding shop. A strategic partner that fixes the disconnect between what you know and what your buyers can find.

Strategy first. Systems second. Tools last.

    Why "The Alchemy Index"?

Alchemy is the ancient art of transformation — turning lead into gold, taking what's ordinary and making it extraordinary. It's also a term that lives in intuitive practices & conscious leadership circles. The language of people who understand that transformation isn't just strategic. It's energetic.

I wanted to build something that honored both sides of who I am. Strategic AND intuitive. Analytical AND purposeful. Profitable AND aligned.

    You don't have to choose.

Molten gold flowing like metal in a foundry

Many a CEO has admitted they couldn't sleep last night. That's friction. And it doesn't have to be the cost of doing business.

Whether you run a shop floor or a boardroom, you know the difference between flow and friction.

    Flow

The machines are humming. Orders are stacking. Your team is in sync. The right buyer found you at the right time, and nobody had to chase them.

    Friction

Everything feels harder than it should. Sales cycles drag. The pipeline feels unpredictable. Your team is working hard but the pieces aren't connecting.

Most people call that a business problem. I've learned it's also an alignment problem — and not just the commercial kind.

I've spent years studying the universal principles of energetics alongside the mechanics of business strategy. Understanding how energy, alignment, and intention work has quadrupled my productivity and allowed me to build a consultancy from scratch — without the stress and fear that most founders accept as normal.

No, I don't bring crystals to strategy sessions. But I do bring a deep understanding that the best business systems work because they're aligned — internally, externally, and energetically. When your positioning matches your capability, your messaging matches your buyer's language, and your team is pulling in the same direction — that's flow. That's what we build.

    What I bring

    20 Years of Marketing Leadership

Strategy, positioning, messaging, go-to-market execution. Director-level experience at companies where marketing was measured by revenue impact, not vanity metrics.

    Nearly 7 Years in Manufacturing

Multiple manufacturing acquisitions through IPO, then hands-on work alongside manufacturers. Deep understanding of how mid-market manufacturers operate, sell, and grow, from the inside, not the outside.

    Strategy to Execution

No strategy decks that collect dust. I build the systems, the content, and the AI workflows that actually execute.

Flowing gold light representing momentum and aligned revenue
